Bruce speaks at conferences around the world on the subject of brand strategy and is regularly invited to lecture at business schools. He is also a Course Director for the Chartered Institute of Marketing and an accredited speaker with the Vistage CEO network.

His brand strategy practice Brand Arrow has completed over 150 assignments in Europe and North America across conventional and mission based organisations, for a variety of sectors including technology, financial and legal services, food and drink, fashion, and software.

In 2019 Bruce published ‘What’s Your Point? ’containing the proprietary Brand Arrow framework, which won the silver medal at the Axiom Business Book Awards (US).

Bruce’s brand strategy book What’s Your Point? was published in 2019, winning a Silver Medal at the Axiom Business Book Awards (US) and earning a shortlist nomination for the UK Business Book Awards.

The book introduces the Brand Arrow®, a straightforward framework that helps readers define a clear and compelling brand strategy. It emphasises the importance of a sharp definition of purpose, what Bruce calls a brand’s “point”— as a focus for success.

Since its release, the book has been a foundation for Bruce’s speaking engagements and continues to guide Brand Arrow® clients. Waterstones, the book’s launch partner, remains its largest buyer, accounting for a third of national sales.
